“No bat box model will work 100% of the time. Size matters, complexity matters, time matters, context matters, location matters. There are many variables that make a bat box more likely to be occupied. The BatGuy.org boxes provide the best of what we expect to be effective. They are large and complex enough with passageways that bats can move around within to find the temperature they need through the day or season. The rough wood surfaces inside and large landing plate make it easy for bats to access and roost inside.
